Compared to the ilGoblin RAW, the Competizione is lighter, sharper, and more competition-oriented. It features a sub-2 kg airframe, redesigned structure, 12 mm triple-bearing main shaft support, quick rear battery insertion, 35 mm carbon tail boom with internal aluminum reinforcements, and several upgraded rotor and tail components.

The frame, drivetrain, rotor system, boom, and tail assembly were all selected and refined to deliver a more direct and precise flight feel.

Main Frame & Drivetrain Layout

The main frame is lightened and redesigned for high rigidity while keeping unnecessary weight to a minimum. The 19 mm motor belt is built to handle high torque loads, and the high-efficiency tail belt tensioner helps maintain consistent belt performance.

Main Rotor Head System

New PEEK Rigid Damper

The new rigid damper system is designed to improve responsiveness and precision. This gives the Competizione a firmer, more locked-in rotor feel, especially during hard cyclic inputs and aggressive maneuvers.

27 mm Blue Radius Arm

The upgraded radius arm layout contributes to the precise control feel of the Competizione. Together with the optimized swashplate geometry, it helps deliver a clean and accurate cyclic response.

Titanium Blade Screws & Titanium/Delrin Blade Washers

The Competizione includes premium lightweight hardware in the rotor system. Titanium blade screws and titanium/Delrin blade washers help reduce weight while maintaining strength and precision at the blade grips.

New Rear Cyclic Servo Mount

The rear cyclic servo area has been reinforced with additional support. This helps maintain precision and stability during high-load maneuvers, especially for pilots pushing the helicopter hard in 3D or competition flying.

35 mm Carbon Fibre Tail Boom & Tail Belt System

The Competizione uses a 35 mm carbon fibre tail boom with internal aluminum reinforcements. This setup keeps the tail structure light while maintaining strength and rigidity. The new tail belt tension system is designed to keep belt performance consistent and easy to manage.

Lightweight 35 mm Tail Case

The lightweight tail case features an oversized bearing for improved durability. The one-piece shaft and hub design helps improve precision, while the double-pin tail slider reduces slop for a more locked-in tail response.

High-Visibility Competition Scheme

The bright yellow, black, and blue colour scheme is designed for excellent visibility and orientation during fast maneuvers. The Competizione keeps the distinctive Goblin look while giving the helicopter a sharper competition identity.
